Mudan Automobile Shares Company Limited (the "Company") was incorporated by Jiangsu Mudan Automobile Group Company Limited and other 5 companies as a joint stock limited company in Sep 1998. Its main products are medium to big sized autoes at different levels for traveling, public transportation, long-distance transportation and business purpose.
The company is located in the famous port city along Yangtze River--- Zhangjiagang City, Jiangsu Province. On Dec 18, 2001 the Company's shares were listed on the Growth Enterprise Market (the "GEM) of the Stock Exchange of Hong Kong Limited (the "Stock Ex-change"). Stock code is 8188. The company owns RMB 1.112 billion total asset and occupies 379,900 square meters. There are more than 2200 employees, among which are 285 engineers and technical staff.
The company set up four advanced auto production lines with an annual production capacity up to 20 thousand units and is one of the biggest bus manufacturers (cars manufacturers excluded). In 2004 the company produced and sold about 8,000 buses and was listed No 4 in China by sales amount.
