RUILI GROUP CHINA was originally established as the Rui'an Heavy Automobile Components Factory in 1987 in Rui'an, the industrial centre of the Wenzhou district. In 1998, the ZHEJIANG RUILI GROUP Co. Ltd was formed and by 2002 had become the largest manufacturer of air brake valves in China. RUILI currently has more than 2,000 employees working in in eight fully owned subsidiaries that produced over three million components in 2004. Ruili supplies the extensive range of Sorl branded products to more than 30 OEM vehicle manufacturers including the two largest local companies, First Automobile Works and Dong Feng.
The group has experienced phenomenal growth over the past three years, hence the need to build the new state of the art manufacturing facility that covers more than two hundred and forty thousand square metres. The first stages of the new facility are already occupied, the final stage is planned for completion at the end of 2005.
Locally, we own 30 subsidiary company warehouses who service a local sales network of over 600 distributors. Overseas, we have branches in Dubai, Australia and the USA, with a European branch due to open soon. We have distributors in more than 30 countries worldwide that look after the needs of our overseas clients.
In February 2004, the airbrake division of the group (www.sorl-autoparts.com/OverView.asp) was listed on the Nasdaq stock exchange in New York, the first company in ZheJiang Province to do so.
We pride ourselves in the quality of our product and to this aim, all eight of our factories are accredited to ISO9001-2000, VDA6 and TS16949 Quality Management System requirements.Our product range is varied and includes; air brake valves, ABS systems, clutch servos, automatic slack adjusters, compressors, eddy current retarders, electric fuel pumps, water pumps, electrical components, automotive meters, power steering pumps and halogen lamps.Mr. Zhang Xiao Ping, the company President has recognized the need to introduce the latest technology into our manufacturing processes and products. To this end, Ruili has employed specialist engineers from all over the world in the brake valve, electronic brake (ABS / EBS etc), and hydraulic pump divisions of the Group, ensuring that we produce products suitable for operation in any market.
