Turbocharger is a very important part to increase the power output and reduce the exhaust gas emission. Turbocharger itself is not the drive root. It utilizes the surplus energy of exhaust gas that diesel engine vents to work, and its function is to supply more compressed air to diesel engine.

  Turbocharger is installed on the exhaust pipe of diesel engine, the exhaust gas that is expelled by diesel engine drives the turbine impeller to run, and then drives the compressor impeller to send the air compressed by air filter into cylinder. Because of entering air increasing, fuel burning more sufficiently or more fuel ejecting can be performed. As a result, it can greatly increase diesel engine power output, clean exhaust gas and reduce fuel consumption. Also turbocharger can help diesel engine have power compensation when working on plateau.  compressor part  turbine housing  turbine exhaust gas outlet  turbine impeller  compressor housing  compressor air outlet  compressor impeller  compressor environment air inlet  Turbocharger with side-valve has the advantages of low speed, big torque and giving attention to performance both under high and low speed. The motion of side-valve is controlled by the turbocharged pressure of turbocharger. When this pressure is bigger than a prearranged value, deflation device opens, part of diesel engine exhaust is dropt directly, so that to control compression ratio to make the break-out pressure in cylinder not overrun permitting value of diesel engine mechanism load.



Turbocharger Installation
  1. Before replacing turbocharger, you must avoid the eyewinker in air filter, compressor gas inlet, compressor outlet, engine gas inlet pipe and gas outlet pipe.   2. When installing,  A. Screw the turbine house loose and bolt of compressor house or nut with V hoop to get a position that both the turbine housing and compressor housing could rotate along the center housing.  B. Fix the turbocharger onto flange on diesel engine gas outlet pipe with two bolts temporarily, let the oil outlet hole face down, and the center of this hole deviate the vertical direction not more than 22 grade, screw at least two bolts little tight to make the center housing and turbine housing relative fixed.  C. Rotate the compressor housing to make it aim at engine gas inlet pipe or cooling connecting pipe, fix it to center housing with at least 2 bolts or hoops.  D. Unload the turbocharger from engine, screw all bolts, nuts and lockplates tight.  E. Install the turbocharger on engine, ensure that the turbocharger oil inlet, oil backlet, turbine gas inlet and outlet, compressor gas inlet and outlet sealed parts are in good condition to make the pipe connecting reliable, or it will cause leakage or whistle.  3. After installation, fill clean lubricating oil to turbocharger oil inlet to do the pre-lubricate, and rotate the compressor impeller and rotor with hand to make sure its agility.  4. Starting the engine  A. Before starting the engine, stop supply fuel 10 to 15 seconds and let it act a little, or till the pressure table showing that oil pressure has been set up.  B. Start the engine, run it in low speed 3 to 4 minutes before accelerating, and check the leakage situation.Special Attention!  You will lose the right to get quality guarantee and to claim for compensation, if you do not install the turbocharger according to our instructions to make it damaged earlier.


Turbocharger Using Notice
  1. After starting the engine, do not add load at once, you should run it in low speed 3 to 5 minutes to set up lubricating oil pressure and flow to ensure well lubricating. Pay attention to that running the engine in low speed for a long time could lead turbocharger leakage.  2. When engine working, avoid to stop the vehicle urgently, run it in low speed before stopping to low the turbocharger oil temperature, prevent heat-back burned and bearing damaging problems.  3. Check the back-oil pipe regularly to make it smooth. Make the engine crankcase breathing machine smooth to avoid too high pressure in crankcase and lubricating oil back not smoothly to lead leakage.  4. As to turbocharger with side-valve, do not consider the parts like outside handspike as carry-handle to avoid effecting normal work of side-valve operating part to lead handspike distortion. Do not unload the accommodating nuts with unload sign.  5. Check the air filter and clean the core according to instructions, or it will cause leakage at the compressor side.  6. Strictly according to the instructions, use regulated brand lubricating oil and the filter recommended by engine manufacturer.
